The Earthshot Prize
Rose Atkinson is a seasoned professional focused on sustainable development and energy sectors, currently serving as Head of Portfolio at The Earthshot Prize since October 2023. Previously held roles include Portfolio and Search Senior Manager at Coralus, where approximately 5,000 women Activators funded women-led ventures supporting the UN Sustainable Development Goals. As Senior Manager at the Clean Cooking Alliance, Rose managed innovative finance activities and led a Digital Innovation Challenge. Experience includes serving as Chief Operating Officer at Equatorial Power Ltd. and various consulting roles, including Independent Consultant for sustainable energy start-ups. Rose's technical background includes positions at Offshore Design Engineering Ltd., AMEC, and ExxonMobil, with a degree in Engineering Science from the University of Oxford and Chartered Engineer status from the Energy Institute.
