Matthew Sherwood is a seasoned economist and producer, currently serving as a Senior Global Economist and Lead Commodities Editor at the Economist Intelligence Unit since July 2019, where advisory services and global forecasts are pivotal. Previous roles at EIU include Global Economist and Lead US and Commodities Editor, showcasing expertise in economic and political forecasts, particularly regarding the interplay of developed and emerging markets. Sherwood also hosts the Factual America podcast and produces documentary projects for Alamo Pictures.
