Alex Dixon

Alex Dixon is a seasoned professional in the field of total rewards, currently serving as the Head of Reward at The Economist since May 2024. Prior to this role, Alex was the Senior Director of Total Rewards at Andela from April 2022 to April 2024. Alex's extensive experience includes positions at eBay, where roles included Director and Senior Manager of Total Rewards from December 2013 to April 2022, as well as Senior Manager of Total Rewards at Arup from October 2008 to November 2013. Earlier career experience includes serving as Reward Manager in Global Retail and Commercial Banking at Barclays from October 2003 to October 2008. Academic qualifications include a BA in Social and Political Sciences from the University of Cambridge and an MA in Social and Political Thought from the University of Warwick.
