Charlotte Vlahavas has extensive work experience in various roles related to marketing, subscriptions, and customer engagement. Charlotte is currently working as the Global Head of Subscriber Onboarding & Engagement at The Economist since December 2022. Prior to that, they held roles at PlayStation, where they were the Subscriptions Growth and Sales Manager from October 2021 to December 2022, as well as the Global Trading Manager, PlayStation Plus from May 2020 to October 2021.
Before their time at PlayStation, Charlotte worked at The Telegraph, where they were the Senior Manager, Subscriptions Experience & Planning from December 2019 to May 2020, and the Senior Marketing Manager, Subscriber Retention from January 2018 to December 2019.
Charlotte'sprevious experience includes roles at Reed Business Information as a Senior Product Marketing Executive in 2017, News UK as a Product Marketing and Audience Development Executive from May 2016 to December 2016, and Partnerships and Promotions Executive from January 2015 to May 2016. Charlotte also worked as a Partnerships and Promotions Assistant at News UK from August 2013 to December 2014.
Additionally, Charlotte has worked as a Marketing Consultant at Gerald Thomas & Co in 2013, where they were responsible for reviewing and redesigning business literature and assessing social media usage. Early in their career, they also worked as a Bartender and Bar Manager at The Loft from March 2008 to November 2010, where they led a team and handled all marketing aspects of the nightclub. Charlotte started their career as a Freelance Graphic Designer from April 2007 to November 2010, where they designed high-quality graphics and maintained strong client relationships.
Charlotte Vlahavas attended Gorseinon College from 2006 to 2008. Charlotte then pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Business Management and Marketing at Swansea University from 2009 to 2013.
