Hervé Schnegg has a diverse range of work experience in the field of data science and business intelligence. Hervé is currently the Head of Data Science at The Economist since July 2022. Prior to that, they held the same role at Station10 from October 2021 to July 2022. Hervé also worked as a Principal Data Scientist at Station10 from October 2019 to October 2021. Additionally, Hervé has worked at General Assembly, where they held multiple positions including Distinguished Faculty Member, Data Science Product Advisory Board Member, and Lead Data Science Instructor from January 2019 to December 2021. Hervé Schnegg obtained a Data Mining and Applications Graduate Certificate from Stanford University in 2014. Hervé also holds an MSc in Financial Management from HEC Lausanne - The Faculty of Business and Economics of the University of Lausanne, which they completed from 1994 to 1998.
In addition to their formal education, Hervé Schnegg has obtained several certifications, including the Data Engineering, Big Data, and Machine Learning on GCP Specialization from Coursera in 2020. Hervé has also completed various courses in deep learning, convolutional neural networks, hyperparameter tuning, and machine learning projects, all from Coursera in 2018.
