Irfan Yasin

Irfan Yasin is an accomplished technology professional with a diverse range of experience in engineering management and technical leadership. Currently serving as a Senior Engineering Manager at The Economist since June 2021, Irfan previously held roles including Engineering Manager and Technical Lead at THRIVE LXP, where responsibilities included managing the technical team and supporting the presales process. As Chief Technology Officer and Lead Architect at Buto from June 2011 to August 2020, Irfan developed the technical and product roadmap while overseeing a remote development team and engaging with clients. Earlier experience includes positions as a Senior Developer at MyTVOnline and Big Button, along with a brief stint as a Technology Transfer Consultant. Irfan holds a 1st BSc (Hons) in Multimedia Technology from Birmingham City University.
