Lara Salzer Levi

Lara Salzer Levi has a diverse range of work experience. Lara is currently working at The Economist as the Strategy & Insights Lead for Custom Events on a global scale. Prior to this, they held the same role but focused on the Americas and Europe. Lara also served as a Senior Events Manager at The Economist.

Before joining The Economist, Lara worked as a Senior Project Manager at American Express Global Business Travel. Lara also had a freelance project management role at Kipling Events and later became a Project Manager at the same company, where they handled large-scale events for various high-profile clients.

Lara's earlier experience includes serving as a Student Ambassador and intern at the University of Exeter, where they were involved in event planning and assisted in developing war game scenarios at the Strategy and Security Institute. Lara also worked as an Assistant to the Director at Peace and Cooperation NGO, organizing international events and conferences. Additionally, Lara taught English as a Second Language at Canterbury English and completed an internship at Fundación Francisco Largo Caballero, where they focused on translation and transcription work.

Lara Salzer Levi completed their education with a BA Hons in International Relations and Spanish from the University of Exeter in 2015. Later, they pursued an MsC in Management specializing in Business Administration and Management from UCL in 2018. In terms of additional certifications, Lara obtained the APM Project Fundamentals Qualification (PFQ) from the Association for Project Management in 2018 and the Cvent Event Management certification from Cvent in May 2020. Lara also holds a certification in Business Sustainability Management from the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL), obtained in 2020.
