Sarah Hoare has a diverse work experience in the field of marketing and events. Sarah currently serves as the Head of Marketing at The Economist since June 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Marketing & Events Executive in APAC at WeAreAspire from June 2018 to October 2019. Sarah also served as a Senior Marketing Executive at Reed Business Information from June 2013 to June 2016. Additionally, they have worked as a Marketing Manager at CWC Group, Marketing Executive at UBM plc, Marketing Executive at Athene Publishing, and Marketing Assistant at DTZ, gaining valuable experience in various marketing roles.
Sarah Hoare completed their education with a BA (Hons) degree in English and Dance from the University of Chichester in 2009. In 2011, they pursued a Graduate Foundation Programme in Marketing Strategy from CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing. In 2013, they attended Cambridge Executive Development for a course in Creative Copywriting for Marketing & PR. In 2021, they completed the Future Leaders Programme from The Economist. Sarah also attended The Wharton School in 2023 for a program focused on High-Potential Leaders: Accelerating Your Impact.
