Thomas Bertorelli

Thomas Bertorelli is an experienced research professional currently serving as the Research Lead for Data & Insights at The Economist since July 2022. Previously, Bertorelli worked as a Consumer Insights Manager at Eastman from November 2021 to June 2022, and as a Senior Analyst and Analyst at Panera Bread between January 2019 and November 2021. Earlier roles include Associate Insights Manager and Insights Analyst at My-Take from January 2017 to December 2018, and a Graduate Teaching Fellow at Brandeis University from August 2013 to January 2017. Thomas Bertorelli also served as a U.S. Student Fulbright Scholar with the Polish-U.S. Fulbright Commission from September 2012 to July 2013. Educationally, Bertorelli holds a PhD in Sociology from Brandeis University (2013-2017), a Master's degree in Social Sciences from the University of Chicago (2010-2012), and a dual Bachelor's degree from Muhlenberg College (2006-2010).
