David T Schmidt

David T Schmidt is currently engaged as a Writer and Correspondent for The Economist's Society at UCL since November 2023. Schmidt serves as a Marketing Executive for UCL Business Society and holds the positions of Transition Mentor and President of UCL Leadership and Management Society and UCL Government and Politics Society, respectively, both starting in June 2023. A Career Officer at UCL Diplomacy Society and Events Manager for UCL IPAS since March and February 2023, Schmidt also represents and raises funds for Liberty in North Korea since January 2020. Previous experience includes a Project Intern role at Open Doors International and a Summer Intern position at the State Parliament Of Baden-Wuerttemberg, both completed in mid-2023. Schmidt's educational background includes studies at UCL (2022-2025) and Yonsei University (2021-2022).
