David Sutton, GBA has extensive work experience in the insurance industry. David started their career as an Account Manager at Great-West Life (formerly London Life / Prudential of America) in 1990, where they worked until 1998. During this time, they managed accounts and developed relationships with clients.

In 1998, David joined Maritime Life / Manulife as an Account Executive. David managed a large group block of business and co-managed a team of 10. David'sresponsibilities included renewal presentations, negotiations, and overall block profitability.

In 2006, David transitioned to Equitable Life as a Group Marketing Manager. David held this position until 2008, overseeing various marketing initiatives.

From 2008 to 2009, David worked as a Sales Representative at The ENCON Group. David focused on securing new business within a newly formed territory and managed the quotation process.

From 2010 to 2012, David served as an Account Executive at Medavie Blue Cross. David generated new business by engaging advisors through research and networking. David also managed a block of business within the small employee benefits market.

Since 2013, David has been with The Edge Benefits. David began as a Sales Consultant, responsible for new business development and strengthening relationships with advisors. In 2018, they were promoted to the role of Vice President - National Accounts & MGA's. In this position, they continue to support advisor relationships and oversees national accounts and managing general agents.

David Sutton, GBA has completed the Provincial Life/Accident and Sickness License program, starting in 2011 with no specified end year. Following that, in 2012, David attended GBA, where they pursued additional education. The degree name and field of study for both programs are not provided.
