Rafael Ortiz

Rafael Ortiz has worked in a variety of roles across a range of companies since 1994. Rafael began their career at Apple Computer, Inc. as an Evangelist in 1994. In 1998, they co-founded Nextag and served as Vice President of Marketing & Business Development. From 2008 to 2021, Ortiz held board member roles at USA CYCLING DEVELOPMENT FOUNDATION, Deepdyve, Klarna, StoryTerrace, and Outside. Rafael also served as an investor at Klarna, StoryTerrace, Coupang, and Wish between 2015 and 2017. Most recently, Ortiz has been the Co-Founder and CEO of Editorialist since 2019.

Rafael Ortiz attended the University of California, Santa Cruz from 1986 to 1990, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. Rafael then attended Stanford University Graduate School of Business from 1994 to 1996.
