Alex Birch

Alex Birch is a seasoned professional in the field of education and quality assurance with a comprehensive background spanning over 18 years. Currently serving as Regional Quality Assurance Manager at The Education and Training Foundation since September 2020, Alex has also been a Pearson Associate at Pearson UK since October 2010. Prior experience includes roles as Quality Lead for FE Teaching and Learning and Sports Lecturer at WCG from April 2007 to September 2020, as well as Sports Lecturer at Moulton College from September 2005 to April 2007. Academic credentials include a PGCE in Post Compulsory Education from Oxford Brookes University and a BSc in Sport & Exercise Science from the University of Essex, further supported by foundational education in Sports and Exercise Science from St Martins School.
