Emma Carlile

Emma Carlile is an experienced academic leader currently serving as Academic Director and University Foundation Course Leader at The Education Group in London since June 2020. Prior roles include Assistant Programme Development Manager and Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead at King's College London, as well as various positions at Kings London from 2006 to 2019, including Director of Studies and English Language Teacher. Emma's earlier career includes teaching roles in Russia, as well as administrative positions such as Citizenship Officer and Registrar for the London Borough of Bromley. Emma holds an MBA from the University of Plymouth, a PGCE from Canterbury Christ Church University, an MA in TESOL from IOE - UCL, and a BA in French and Russian from the University of Exeter, among other qualifications.
