Bente Nilssen is a multifaceted professional with extensive experience in fashion design, textile consulting, and translation. Currently serving as a Freelance Translator for ReThink/TankOm.se and as an Editor for The Educational Equality Institute, Bente also has a significant background in the fashion industry, including roles as a Sales Specialist and Personal Stylist at Nordstrom, and as the Owner and Founder of FROSK, a trendy tween clothing brand. Previous positions include Fashion Designer for Moritex and Conveste, Senior Designer at Sophie Faroh AS, and founding Team Du Nord, specializing in women's apparel. Bente's educational qualifications include an Associate's degree in Fashion Design from ESMOD and studies in Art History at the University of Bergen.

The Educational Equality Institute is a registered Non-Government Organisation (NGO) headquartered in Oslo, Norway. We support marginalised girls to stay in school, graduate, succeed and lead change by example. Our mission is to fight educational inequality by making education fair. Providing girls and young women with equal access to education, we aim to raise future successful graduates, leaders, advocates, and change-makers. We strongly believe that every girl and young woman has power over her own life and can shape the world around her. In response to the war in Ukraine, we started the project: “Together for Ukraine”. Free educational programs where we, together with our partners, will help 100.000 Ukrainians shape their future through education, upskilling, and employment.
