Ella Griffiths-Downing

Ella Griffiths-Downing is an experienced communications professional currently serving as a Senior Communications Adviser at The Electoral Commission, focusing on voter engagement and press relations in Wales since August 2020. Previously, Ella worked at Cardiff University as a Communications and Engagement Officer within the Careers and Employability team, where responsibilities included creating digital content and leading marketing campaigns. Additional roles span from project coordination for student volunteering initiatives to various writing positions, showcasing a strong marketing and communications background. Ella holds a BA in Political Science and Philosophy from the University of Birmingham and is currently pursuing a Master of Laws in Public Law at the University of London.
