Annie Rigda

Outpatient Site Director at The Emily Program

Annie Rigda has a diverse work experience in the mental health and education sectors. Annie started their career at Cornerstone of Hope as a Graduate Counseling Intern from September 2012 to August 2013. Annie then moved on to Penn State University as an NSO Academic Advisor/Consultant for a brief period from May 2014 to July 2014. Annie joined Shelter Care in August 2014 as a Counselor at Safe Landing Youth Shelter for Girls, where they provided counseling services to youth and families in crisis. Finally, they joined The Emily Program in January 2018 as a Program Manager, transitioning through various roles such as DBT Outpatient Therapist, Clinical Manager, and currently serving as the Outpatient Site Director since April 2021.

Annie Rigda received their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology from Ohio Wesleyan University, where they studied from 2007 to 2011. Following that, they pursued further education and completed their Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from John Carroll University between 2011 and 2013.
