Kalkidan Mekete

Kalkidan Mekete started working as a Researcher at the Ethiopian Public Health Institute in January 2012 and held the role until September 2021. In May 2021, they joined The END Fund as the Director of the program.

Kalkidan Mekete has a diverse education history with a focus on science and medicine. Kalkidan earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Applied Biology from Addis Ababa University. Kalkidan then pursued a second Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Pharmacy from Central University College. Additionally, Kalkidan holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Medical Parasitology from Addis Ababa University.
