Joshua Filler, P.E. has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. Joshua began their career as an Industrial Engineering Intern at Mullinix Packages in 2007. After that, they worked at Geothermal Design Associates as an HVAC Model Programming specialist for a brief period. In 2008, they joined American Electric Power as a Distribution System Planning Engineer, where they stayed until 2014. From 2014 to the present, Filler has been working at The Energy Cooperative, initially as the Manager of Engineering and subsequently becoming the VP/COO.
Joshua Filler, P.E. completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Electrical Engineering at Tri-State University from 2004 to 2008. In 2010 to 2012, they pursued a Masters degree in Business Administration at Indiana University Fort Wayne. In 2014 and 2015, Joshua participated in the Licking County Chamber of Commerce Leadership Program. Then, from 2018 to 2022, they pursued a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Power Systems at Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
Furthermore, Joshua Filler, P.E. obtained additional certifications including the Management Internship Program from NRECA in February 2019, and they attained their Professional Engineer license from the State of Ohio in March 2014 and the State of Indiana in December 2012.

The Energy Cooperative is the trade name used by LRE and its subsidiaries, which operate as separate corporations.
