Matthew S. C. Olver

Matthew S. C. Olver, PhD, serves as a Senior Lecturer and Affiliate Professor of Liturgics at Nashotah House, where professional roles have included Associate and Assistant Professor of Liturgics and Pastoral Theology, as well as Director of St. Mary's Chapel. Additionally, Matthew S. C. Olver is the Executive Director and Publisher at The Living Church Foundation since September 2023, and has been a Priest in The Episcopal Church since 2005. Previous positions include Doctoral Candidate at Marquette University, culminating in the successful defense of a dissertation in March 2018, Assistant Rector at the Church of the Incarnation, and Curate and Chaplain at St John's Episcopal Church and School. Educational credentials include a PhD in Systematic Theology from Marquette University, a Master of Divinity from Duke University Divinity School, and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Wheaton College.
