Project Engineer at The ESCO Group

Tom Kelley's work experience includes a variety of roles in the field of industrial automation and engineering.

Tom began their career as a Product Engineering Technician at Viking Pump in 1984.

In 1985, they joined Sukup Manufacturing Co. as a Product Engineer, where they were responsible for the development and improvement of new production methods. Tom also played a role in the development of new products and support of existing ones.

From 1988 to 1990, Tom worked as an Instructor/Coordinator at Hawkeye Community College.

In 1990, they joined ICCS Integrated Control & Computer Systems as a Project Manager. In this role, they handled electrical controls engineering responsibilities for industrial automation projects. Tom was experienced in designing and implementing industrial control systems in various industries, such as food and chemical processing, dry milling, material handling, and seed conditioning. Tom was also skilled in working with major PLC brands and SCADA software packages. Tom continued in this role until 1993.

From 1993 to 2010, Tom was employed at Controls Systems Integrators as a Sr. Project Engineer.

From 2010 to 2015, Tom worked at AES Corporation / Integration Solutions as a Sr. Controls Engineer.

Since 2015, they have been serving as a Project Engineer at The ESCO Group.

Tom Kelley attended North Iowa Area Community College from an unknown start year until 1982, where they pursued an Associate of Applied Science degree in Electronics Technology. Following this, they enrolled at the University of Northern Iowa from 1982 to 1984 and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree. Tom majored in Industrial Technology with a focus on Industrial Technology.
