Ermolaos Ververis currently serves as a Scientific Officer in the Nutrition & Food Innovation Unit at the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA), focusing on safety assessments and risk-benefit analysis of novel foods. With a robust background in food chemistry and technology, Ermolaos has held various roles at EFSA since December 2016, including positions as a Scientific Technical Assistant and a Trainee in the Nutrition Unit. Prior to EFSA, Ermolaos worked as a Food Chemist in research and development at Lincoln University and the University of Copenhagen, and contributed to significant research projects at the University of Helsinki and Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
