April Moreton

April Moreton, PhD, CFRE, currently serves as the Executive Director of Advancement at The Evangelical Alliance Mission since May 2023. Previously, April held the position of Vice President for Institutional Advancement at the University of Northwestern - St. Paul from February 2019 to November 2022 and served as the Senior Director of Development at John Brown University from August 2002 to December 2018. April's extensive experience includes leadership roles in fundraising, donor relations, and campaign management, notably overseeing a $125 million capital campaign and successfully completing the Keeping Faith campaign ahead of schedule. April also contributed to various university committees and served as an adjunct instructor in multiple subjects related to higher education. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Higher Education from the University of North Texas, an MA in Christian Education from Dallas Theological Seminary, and a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Texas Christian University.
