Rajeswari Sachdeva

Rajeswari Sachdeva has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and industries. Rajeswari currently holds the position of Director of Diversity and Community Engagement at The Evergreen School, a role they started in 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Assistant Head of School for Justice, Equity, and Inclusion at Giddens School from 2022 to 2023. From 2018 to 2022, Rajeswari worked as the Director of Diversity and Inclusion at Open Window School, where they played an important role in promoting the school's diversity mission and overseeing HR-related tasks. Rajeswari also worked as an Innovation and Technology Teacher at Open Window School from 2009 to 2018, where they taught various technology-related skills to students. Before entering the education sector, Rajeswari worked as a Fifth Grade general education teacher at Somerset Elementary in the Bellevue School District from 2005 to 2009. Rajeswari also gained experience in the technology industry, serving as a Programmer Specialist at BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee in 1996, and as a Technology Support Specialist at Ernst & Young LLP from 1995 to 1996. Their early career includes a role as a Programmer Analyst at International Paper from 1992 to 1995, where they conducted audits and provided consulting services within information systems.

Rajeswari Sachdeva obtained their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Tennessee State University from 1988 to 1992. Later, in 2004 to 2005, they pursued a Master in Teaching with a focus on Education/Teaching of the Gifted and Talented at City University of Seattle.
