Mayra Espinoza has had a range of work experience in various organizations. Mayra started their career in 2005 as the Latino Program Coordinator at The George Washington University. From there, they worked as a Counselor for the Upward Bound Program at the University of Maryland in 2007. Mayra returned to The George Washington University in 2008 as the Coordinator for Student Involvement and later became the Assistant Director in the Office of Student Rights and Responsibilities. In 2012, they joined The Executive Leadership Council as a Senior Program Manager in Member Services. Mayra then transitioned to HACR - Hispanic Association on Corporate Responsibility in 2018, where they served as the Vice President of Executive Programs. Currently, in 2020, they hold the position of Director of Member Engagement at The Executive Leadership Council and has previously held roles as the Director of Center of Operational Excellence and Director of Strategic Initiatives.
Mayra Espinoza received a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Service Counseling from Old Dominion University in 2003. Mayra then went on to earn a Master of Education degree in Higher Education/Higher Education Administration from The George Washington University from 2005 to 2007.
