Julie Comfort

Julie Comfort is an accomplished Olive Grower, owning and managing a finca in the Baix Ebre region of Catalonia since August 2024, focusing on olive oil production while planning to expand the farm for events and retreats. Previously, as the Founder and Experience Designer at The Experiential Wedding from June 2020 to August 2024, Julie created a holistic experience design agency that collaborated with wedding planners to deliver transformative events. Julie founded Comfort Studio UG, a publishing company specializing in magazines and books, which successfully launched products through Kickstarter campaigns from May 2017 to August 2024. From 2007 to 2018, Julie led Comfort Studio Weddings, an award-winning international wedding photography studio, establishing a prominent brand in Costa Rica. Julie's career began as a Display Artist at Urban Outfitters from 2002 to 2006. Academic achievements include a Bachelor's Degree in Fine and Studio Arts from California College of the Arts and a Master’s Degree in Creative Writing from San Jose State University, along with certifications and residencies in Experience Design from KAOSPILOT institutions.
