Dave Maney has a diverse work experience, starting in 1994 as the Co-Founder and CEO of Worldbridge Broadband Services Inc., a technical services and operational outsourcing firm. Dave later became the Director of the company until January 2000 when it was sold. From 2000 to 2005, Dave served as a Director at The Black Hills Corporation, where they were responsible for overseeing various aspects of the company. In 2001, they co-founded Headwaters MB and served as the Chairman of the investment banking and merchant banking firm until December 2010. Dave then worked as a Contributor for Forbes Magazine from 2007 to 2009 and as a Contributor for Fox Business Network starting in 2008. In 2011, they became the Economic Revolution columnist for The Denver Post, a role they held until February 2014. Dave joined The Expert Press as the Founder and CEO in 2013 and is currently in this position. Dave also served as a Contributor for The Daily Beast from April 2014 to November 2019. In 2017, Dave joined Tripping.com as a Corporate Director, a role they held until August 2018. Additionally, they served as a Director for the Young Presidents' Organization from 2005 to 2008.

Dave Maney received their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics from Binghamton University in the years 1980 to 1983. Following this, they pursued their MBA at Stanford University Graduate School of Business from 1985 to 1987. Prior to their university education, Dave attended Binghamton Central High School, although specific years of attendance are not provided.
