Antonio Figueroa González began their professional career in 2014 with an internship at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid's Instituto Universitario de Microgravedad 'Ignacio Da Riva', where they studied fluid physics in a microgravity environment and completed their Bachelor Degree Final project with honours. In 2016, they completed an internship at SENER. From 2017 to 2021, they worked as an Aerospace Systems - AOCS/GNC Engineer - Project Manager at SENER, where they were the Project Manager and Technical Lead for the SPADS project funded by ESA, and Technical Lead of the GNC subsystem for the Space Rider project. In 2021, they became an Associate Professor at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, and in 2022 they took on the role of Lead GNC Engineer at The Exploration Company and Associate Professor at Universidad Pontificia Comillas.
Antonio Figueroa González completed a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Aerospace Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid between 2011 and 2015. Antonio then went on to complete a Master of Science (MSc) in Computational Fluid Dynamics from Cranfield University between 2016 and 2017. Antonio also obtained a Master of Science (MSc), Aeronautical Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid between 2015 and 2017. Antonio is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia - U.N.E.D., which they started in 2017. Additionally, they obtained a TOELF IBT certification in July 2015, with a score of 94/120.
