Artur Koop

Artur Koop has been working in the industry since 2015. Artur started their career as a Visiting Researcher at the Bioengineering Branch of NASA Ames Research Center. In 2016, they became a Development Engineer at the Institute of Astronautics at Technische Universität München and a Project/Subsystem Lead - Propulsion Subsystem (Artemis Orion ESM), Project/Subsystem Lead - Avionics and Power Subsystem (Artemis Orion ESM), Project/Subsystem Lead - Thermal Control System (Artemis Orion ESM), Propulsion System Engineer (Artemis Orion ESM) and Requirements Engineer at Airbus Defence and Space. In 2022, they were appointed as the Chief Operating Officer of The Exploration Company.

Artur Koop completed their high school education at Ulrichsgymnasium Norden in the field of Natural Sciences from 2003 to 2010. Artur then pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Aerospace Engineering at the Technical University of Munich from 2010 to 2013. Artur further extended their studies at the same university and obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Aerospace Engineering in 2015. Artur also has experience with WARR, although it is unclear what type of experience this entails.
