Olivier Faure

Lead System Engineer & Deputy Chief Engineer at The Exploration Company

Olivier Faure has worked in the aerospace industry since 2008. Olivier began their career as an Intern Researcher at the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA). In 2010, they became an Ariane 5 Mission Analysis Engineer at EADS Astrium. In 2014, they moved to Airbus Defence and Space as an ORION - MPCV CSS Engineer. In 2016, they were promoted to ORION - ESM CSS Technical Authority at Airbus Safran Launchers. In 2019, they were promoted again to ORION - ESM Major Spacecraft Delivery Lead for Thermal, Consumables and Structures Sub-Systems at Airbus Defence and Space. Most recently, in 2022, they were promoted to Lead System Engineer & Deputy Chief Engineer at The Exploration Company.

Olivier Faure received their Bachelor's degree from Lycée Fabert Metz in 2006, and then went on to receive their Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) with a major in Propulsion from ISAE-SUPAERO in 2010.
