A strong believer of the role of education, technology, and best practices in the logistics industry, Lynn is the founder of the Fritz Institute, dedicated to mobilizing disaster management expertise.
A pioneer in the global logistics industry, Lynn was the chairman and CEO of the Fritz Companies Inc. until May 2001, when it was acquired by UPS.
A native of San Francisco, Lynn serves on the Board of the University of California at Davis Department of Viticulture.
He received a BA from Georgetown University and a JD from Lincoln University School of Law. In recognition of his outstanding leadership and community service, in 1995 he was honored with a Doctor of Laws degree by Pepperdine University.
