Richard Wiese

Richard Wiese has an extensive work experience in the field of exploration and media. Richard is the sole owner and creator of the ABC television series "Born to Explore with Richard Wiese" since 2011, where they have initiated story ideas and produced 130 shows with their team of producers. In 2018, they became the President of The Explorers Club. Prior to that, they worked as a host for BBC in 2008 and as the host of "Exploration with Richard Wiese" from 2005 to 2006. Additionally, they served as the President of The Explorers Club from 2002 to 2006 and represented the US in the Moussem de Tan Tan gathering in Morocco. Richard Wiese also worked as a Science Host for Network of the World, hosting a live show called "Earth and Space" from 2000 to 2001.

Richard Wiese earned a Bachelor's degree in Geology/Earth Science, General from Brown University, from 1978 to 1981.
