Ryan Sacksteder

Ryan Sacksteder is an experienced optometrist currently employed at the Eye Institute of West Florida since July 2013. Previously, Ryan worked at the Tampa Bay Optometric Group from August 2012 to July 2013. Initial experience included internships at Perry Point VA Medical Center and Naval Hospital Beaufort in early 2012, where Ryan provided optometry services to military personnel and their families. Additional internships at Richard E. Sorkin, OD, FAAO, FCOVD and the Illinois Eye Institute involved comprehensive eye care and vision therapy. Ryan also volunteered at Chicago Public Schools, performing eye exams for students aged 3 to 21. Ryan earned a Doctor of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of North Carolina Wilmington.
