Elizabeth Ildefonso

Elizabeth Ildefonso is a staff attorney at The Family Center, a position held since June 2019, where legal services are provided to medically fragile New Yorkers across various practice areas including Housing Law, Family Law, Public Benefits, and Lifetime Planning. Prior experience includes work on the Broken Adoptions Project at The Children's Law Center and involvement in a Domestic Violence Law Project at Safe Horizon. Elizabeth has also represented children in family court and conducted legal research in family law matters. Earlier roles include volunteering as an assistant at the Brooklyn Bar Association Volunteer Lawyers Project and serving as a legislative intern at the New York State Trial Lawyers Association. Elizabeth holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Brooklyn Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences from New York University.
