Anne Russell Thompson

Anne Russell Thompson is an experienced professional in agricultural policy and government affairs. Currently serving as the VP of Young, Beginning Farmer Programs & Industry Outreach at Farm Credit Council since March 2024, Anne has held key positions such as Senior Director of PAC & Political Strategy at the National Corn Growers Association from 2020 to 2024, and Director of Government Affairs at Bunge from 2015 to 2020. Previous roles include Government Relations Manager at CoBank, Deputy Scheduler/Assistant to the Chief of Staff in the United States Senate, and various positions in communication and administration early in the career. Anne holds a Master of Science in Management from Colorado State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism with a minor in Spanish from the University of Mississippi.
