CFO at The Farmer's Dog

Chris Asmis is the current Chief Financial Officer at The Farmer's Dog. Prior to this, they served as the CFO and CAO of Nice-Pak Products, Inc. from May 2021 to March 2022. From July 2017 to May 2021, they were the SVP Finance at FreshDirect where they led strategic planning during the turnaround and rebuilding phase for the business. Chris also led corporate finance functions including Investor Relations, FP&A, and Accounting. Prior to that, they served as the VP Finance (Division CFO) of Ahold Delhaize from August 2014 to July 2017 where they led the finance team for the New York division and achieved sales, share, and profit targets two years in a row. Additionally, they were responsible for leading the strategic evaluation, financial valuation, due diligence, and integration for a key acquisition. Chris began their career at PepsiCo in May 2004 where they provided insight to the CFO on PepsiCo’s global performance, shaped PepsiCo’s financial goals, and led global forecasting and planning processes. Chris left PepsiCo in August 2014 to join FRITO LAY as their Finance Director. Chris held this position until January 2004 when they joined Procter & Gamble as a Finance Manager and Finance Analyst.

Chris Asmis has an MBA from Ivey Business School at Western University and a BComm from Queen's University. Chris is currently enrolled in the Harvard Ahold Executive Program at Harvard Business School.

They are on a team with Eric Tsytsylin - Head of Brand, Raf Cannizzaro - VP, Product & Engineering, and Chris Woodard - Head of Retention. Chris Asmis reports to Jonathan Yoni Regev, CEO & Co-Founder.
