Doug Shaw, Jr. has had a diverse range of work experience. Doug began their career in 2000 as a Sales Associate at Shaw's Clothing, where they focused on building relationships with customers and improving sales through exceptional service and inventory management.

In 2007, they worked as a Management Trainee at Enterprise Rent-A-Car, where they exceeded company goals and delivered excellent customer service to establish repeat business and generate corporate leads.

From 2008 to 2010, they took on the role of Property Manager at Village Green Management Company, where they achieved financial goals, established strong tenant relationships, and managed multiple complexes across different states.

In 2012, they worked as a Graduate Assistant at The University of Toledo, where they conducted research, provided support for classroom operations, and organized recruitment efforts.

Since 2013, Doug has been working at Farmers & Merchants State Bank in various positions. Doug started as an Assistant Vice President, Commercial Banker, then was promoted to Vice President - Commercial Banker, and currently holds the role of Vice President- Regional Commercial Banking Manager.

Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Strategic Communications, with a minor in General Business, from The Ohio State University between 2003 and 2007. Additionally, Doug Shaw, Jr. possesses the certification of being a graduate of ABA National Commercial Lending School.
