Chris Hines

Chris Hines has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Starting in 2004, they worked as a Media Buyer and Accounts Receivable at Media Resources before transitioning to become a Business Manager at Malone Advertising. In 2007, they joined Medical Service Company as a Finance Manager and held that role until 2011. From 2011 to 2016, Chris worked at Safeguard Properties, first as an Accounting Manager responsible for contractor payables and financial statements, then as a Controller for SCG Partners. Chris then joined MetLife Legal as an Assistant Controller from 2018 to 2022. Most recently, Chris served as the VP of Financial Operations at Assurely from 2022 to 2024. Currently, Chris is a Financial Specialist Lead at the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland.

Chris Hines holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from Kent State University, which was obtained between 1999 and 2003. Later, Chris pursued a Master of Science in Accounting from the University of Phoenix, completing the degree program between 2008 and 2010. Additionally, Chris has obtained certifications in areas such as cultivating a growth mindset, inclusive leadership, coaching skills for leaders and managers, and conducting motivational 1-on-1 reviews from LinkedIn in 2021.
