David Joseph Benitez

David Joseph Benitez is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in government relations and public policy. Currently serving as Assistant Vice President of Government Relations at the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland, David has successfully established the institution's first comprehensive government relations program, focusing on strategic advocacy and stakeholder engagement. Prior roles include Government Relations Principal and Senior Government Relations Coordinator at the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, where David managed legislative activities and fostered important relationships with elected officials. Earlier experiences include roles in the Pittsburgh Community Reinvestment Group and the Peace Corps, complemented by a Master of Science in Public Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor's degree in International Affairs and Political Science from The George Washington University.
