Betsy Bourassa

Betsy Bourassa (Cramton) currently serves as the Director of Corporate Communications at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, a position held since July 2016, with prior roles including Deputy Director and Associate Director of Corporate Communications. Previously, Betsy worked at the U.S. Department of the Treasury from June 2013 to June 2016, serving as Spokesperson for Terrorism and Financial Intelligence and as Media Specialist and Acting Spokesperson, where responsibilities included leading press strategies on key national security issues. Earlier experience includes working in the Crisis Communications Department at APCO Worldwide from June 2011 to June 2013, where writing and media training were primary tasks. Betsy holds a magna cum laude degree in Public Policy from Duke University, with additional certificates in Markets and Journalism.
