Michael Kane

Michael Kane is a seasoned technology executive with significant experience in managing large teams and complex technology initiatives. Currently, Michael serves as Senior Vice President and Head of Application Development and Program Management at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, overseeing a 250+ person organization and a budget of $75 million while delivering strategic technology solutions. Previously, Michael led critical bank initiatives technology, managing a $200+ million program to re-engineer Fedwire. Additionally, as the owner of MK Advisory & Consulting Services, Michael provided strategic consulting for a hedge fund and a major bank. Before that, experience includes roles as Head of Client Reporting Technology at Morgan Stanley and Director of Capital Markets Technology at Merrill Lynch, where Michael delivered key technological solutions and managed substantial teams. Michael holds a BA in Computer Science from Queens College.
