Rashid Naseem is an experienced finance professional with significant expertise in international operations and financial stability. Currently serving as the Head of Specialized International Operations at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York since May 2009, Rashid established and leads an international currency operations team focused on high-risk jurisdictions, coordinating USD banking services for central banks while managing associated risks. Previously, Rashid led the design and operational implementation of the $500 billion Municipal Liquidity Facility responding to Covid-19 impacts on municipal issuers, and provided critical market analysis in roles involving financial stability and corporate credit. Prior experience includes positions at JPMorgan in investment banking and credit portfolio management, as well as working as an economist for the Government of Pakistan's Ministry of Finance. Rashid holds a Master’s degree in International & Development Economics from Yale University and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from The London School of Economics.
