Thomas Doherty

Thomas Doherty is an experienced financial professional with a strong background in liquidity and risk analysis, as well as fixed income trading. Currently serving as a Senior Funding and Liquidity Risk Analyst at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York since December 2008, Thomas analyzes liquidity profiles for significant financial institutions and prepares comprehensive reports for senior management. Previously, Thomas worked at Morgan Stanley from July 2000 to May 2008, where roles included Fixed Income Credit Trader, Manager of Fixed Income Trade Support, and Associate in Fixed Income Settlement. During this tenure, Thomas achieved notable profitability and increased operational efficiency through process optimization. Thomas holds an MBA in Financial Markets & Institutions and Corporate Finance from NYU Stern School of Business and a BA in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
