Zachary Brown

Zachary Brown is currently serving as a Capital Markets Trading Principal at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, a position held since November 2022. In addition to this role, Zachary Brown is a Lecturer in Corporate Finance at the Harris School of Public Policy at the University of Chicago, starting in March 2025. Prior experience includes working as a Supervisory Financial Analyst for the U.S. Department of the Treasury and as a Data Engineer for Biden for President. Notably, Zachary Brown was a Senior Data Fellow for Democracy Works and served as Analytics Lead for Amy for America. Zachary Brown also participated in the Emerging Leaders Class of 2019 at The Chicago Council on Global Affairs and held various positions at Milliman from 2009 to 2019, including Principal, Portfolio Manager, and Quantitative Analyst, where significant contributions were made in risk management strategies and team development. Zachary Brown holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics and History from Northwestern University and a Master's degree in Liberal Arts from The University of Chicago Graham School.
