Shelley Zalis has a diverse work experience that spans over two decades. Shelley is currently the CEO of The Female Quotient, an equality services company that focuses on providing thought leadership platforms and solutions for organizations committed to closing the gender gaps. Prior to The Female Quotient, Zalis was the CEO of Ipsos OTX, where they led a team of researchers, strategists, digital natives, and design technologists. During their time at Ipsos OTX, they also created The Ipsos Girls' Lounge, which served as a networking and inspiring platform for women in the industry. Before joining Ipsos OTX, Zalis was the Founder and CEO of OTX, a research company that became one of the largest and fastest-growing in the world. In 2010, OTX was acquired by Ipsos. Throughout their career, Zalis has been dedicated to challenging traditional norms in the workplace, promoting work-life balance, and advocating for gender equality.

Shelley Zalis attended Barnard College from 1979 to 1983.
