Laurie Fan has extensive experience in various roles across multiple organizations, currently serving as a Cat Volunteer at the Pet Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) since October 2021, where efforts are focused on facilitating cat adoptions. Since June 2002, Laurie has been an Administrative Assistant/Donations for the Financial Executives Networking Group and previously coordinated youth ministry at St Matthew Church from May 2005 to June 2013. A successful career in real estate includes positions as a Realtor at both William Pitt Sotheby's International Realty and Prudential Connecticut Realty, spanning from 2002 to 2012. Laurie holds an MBA in Business from Sacred Heart University and a BA in Technical Theatre & American History from St Mary’s University, Twickenham.

The Financial Executives Networking Group, Inc. (The FENG) is an Internationally recognized organization for senior financial professionals. Members currently hold titles such as CFO, Treasurer, Controller, Managing Director, etc. The FENG has over 37,000 members representing over 15,000 companies, both public and private. Member companies include corporations and financial institutions. Members of The FENG are located in 70 different US cities, and 9 foreign countries. The FENG has 30+ special interest groups organized by industry or financial expertise (e.g. Treasury, Tax, Audit, etc.) The basic purpose of The FENG is to create an opportunity for senior financial professionals to seek out answers to financial issues affecting their company, share job leads and facilitate friendships (i.e. network) with peers in the financial community.
