Itamar Shahar is a Research & Development Assistant at the Edmond and Lily Safra Center for Brain Sciences, specializing in Alzheimer’s Disease research through data science and machine learning. In addition, Itamar serves as an Academic Tutor in Computer Science at The Feuerstein Institute, providing guidance in programming and algorithms. Previously, roles included Cloud Security Developer and Quality Assurance Engineer at Varonis, contributing to quality assurance strategies and team development. Itamar's career began in the Israeli Intelligence Corps, where significant leadership and technical skills were cultivated. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Computational Biology at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
