Julene Mohr Robinson has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Julene is currently an Independent Franchise Co-Owner and President at The Filta Group, Inc - USA since 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Executive Director of the Tampa Bay Region at IDEA Public Schools from 2019 to 2022.
From 2016 to 2019, Julene held the position of Vice Provost, Programs and Academic Affairs at Ultimate Medical Academy, where they were responsible for delivering excellent student satisfaction, retention, placement, and graduation rates. Before that, they served as the Dean of Online Faculty and the Regional Director of Education at the same institution.
In 2010, Julene worked at the Florida Department of Education as the Regional Executive Director for Region IV, where they provided support and guidance to districts and schools for ongoing school improvement. Julene also held the position of Region IV Mathematics Instructional Specialist, where they conducted instructional reviews, provided professional development training, and focused on the creation of high-performing secondary schools.
Earlier in their career, Julene was the Vice President of Program at Bardoli Global, Inc., where they designed and implemented an international education and leadership development program for underrepresented students. Julene also founded and served as the principal and teacher at KIPP Houston High School, where they designed the school's college preparatory curriculum.
Julene started their career as a Teach For America Corps Member and Special Education Teacher at M. Rivas Elementary School. Julene implemented innovative strategies to increase the inclusion and direct instruction of special education students.

Julene Mohr Robinson has a strong educational background in the field of education. In 1989, they received their Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Michigan, majoring in American Culture with an Emphasis in Society and Politics. Following this, they pursued further education and obtained a Master of Education in Educational Leadership Administration and Supervision from National Louis University in 2006. Prior to that, from 1993 to 1996, they attended The University of Texas-Pan American, where they focused on Educational Psychology.
