Emma Kuusela is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in the debt capital markets and technology sectors. Currently serving as Manager of Technology, Resilience & Cyber at the Financial Conduct Authority since February 2024, Emma previously held the position of Director at Deutsche Bank from December 2020 to January 2024. Emma also contributed as Vice President of International Debt Capital Markets at Absa Group between May 2019 and September 2020, and served in various roles at Barclays Investment Bank from 2014 to 2019, including Associate and Analyst in Debt Capital Markets. An early career included internships and assistant roles at Barclays and Nordea Markets. Emma holds a Master of Public Administration in Public and Economic Policy from The London School of Economics and Political Science, and a BSc (Hons) in Politics with Economics from the University of Bath. Furthermore, Emma has a Certificate in ESG Investing from the CFA Institute and has passed Level 1 of the CFA program.
