Laura Rodrigues has extensive experience in policy advocacy and research within the financial and social sectors. Currently serving as Lead Associate in mortgages policy at the Financial Conduct Authority since February 2018, Laura has previously held the position of Senior Associate in the same area. Prior experience includes working as a Senior Public Policy Advocate at StepChange Debt Charity and as a Policy Researcher at Citizens Advice. Laura's career began with roles in policy development at The Children's Society and as a Clerk for the All Party Parliamentary Group for Children. Additionally, Laura served as a Policy and Parliamentary Assistant at the National Children's Bureau. Academically, Laura holds an MSc in Social Policy and Planning from The London School of Economics and Political Science and a BA (Joint Hons) in History and Sociology from the University of Warwick.
